This African trade bead was sourced at an antique market in Delft Holland on one of my recent travels. Handmade in brass, I decided to have it plated in 24 karat gold to give it a richness that the tiny faceted sapphires deserve. The blue and gold are so amazing together with the contrast of the primitive pendant slide and the delicate sapphires. .
