Montana Moss Necklace 7469
Montana Moss N 7469
Montana Moss Agate is a stunning Chalcedony that’s found in the alluvial gravels of the Yellowstone River. This stone was actually formed in the Pleistocene period. A large portion of the agates found around the world are found “in-site”, in other words, where they were formed. Montana Moss is described as having a black manganese oxide as well as red iron oxide, or as a nodule of semi-transparent, gray Chalcedony. And it looks fantastic too! The intricate gold tone chain picks up the texture in the pendant ring and the coloration in the stone. One of a kind.
